We always create and use the data source as System DSN. Sometimes it happened, someone created the same data source as user DSN as well, but this always causes trouble. There were no use DSNs in these systems. For sure not in these cases. I didn't find anything unusual with these systems yet. To be it appears to be random, but for sure I'm missing a detail of some kind.
