MySQL connection to IBM's DB2
Hello all !
I'm not a MySQL user but I'm looking for informations about it ...
We (an insurance broking company) have a web site which has been created using Php and MySQL. This web site has been produced to give to our client the opportunity to browse their contracts, their claims, ... All these datas are stored in a MySQL DB which, in fact is an extraction from our mainframe.
We also have a datawarehouse which is in IBM DB2.
As our web site has been created around our MySQL DB, we'd like to query our DB2 datawarehouse TROUGH our MySQL DB.
The flow would then be : Web Site (php) Request ==> MySQL DB ==> DB2 DB ==> Web Site
The question is quite simple : is it possible ??? I yes, would it be hard to implement ?
Thanks a lot for your help !
