Need help with connection

Hi All,
I am newbie with this staff and need a help with connection .net app with mysql db.
Running linux (centos) with mysql 4.1
Just installed mono 1.1.13.8 and download mysql-connector-net-1.0.7
In the docs I found on:
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/4.1/en/connector-net-installation-unix.html
I am not sure on this "Copy the MySql.Data.dll file to your Mono project installation folder."
I think my mono dynamic link is locate at:
/usr/bin/mono
Do I need to copy .dll files there or create a folder?
Sory, but like you see I ma still green at this.
