usiong MySql with The new vc++ beta?

I read Nicholas Large's post below on using the OLE DB provider to trick Microsoft's the Visual.net IDE into providing support for form design based on a MySQL back-end datasource.

Has anyone figured out how to do this with the new VC++ beta?

It seems like the VC++ IDE would provide a good way to build apps that used MySQL as a back-end datasouce. I once bought Borland's C++ builder, and was real deiappointed to find that the IDE would not work well for connecting to MySQL and building ADO apps that interfaced with MySQL.

Thanks in advance if anyone can post a hint on how to best use the new IDE.
