Hello.

After doing multiple tests to try to reproduce the issue I was unable to do it.

The closest test to try to repoduce the issue basis on the information you provided was: lock the machine.config and run the MSI installer to remove Connector-Net, the uninstall fails and perform a rollback, but the errors returned doesn't match with yours, besides after unlock the machine.config the uninstall runs correctly.

I noticed that in the log you posted there is this message:
"Rollback: Unregistering web providers from machine.config"

The Connector 6.7.2 version doesn't add that configuration to machine.config, did you have an older versión installed when you install ver. 6.7.2?

Please, can you provided more information about what you did before tried to uninstall Connector-net or when your Visual Studio stopped working? Any specific Connector-Net versión that was not uninstalled when you installed ver 6.7.2?
