Hi Peggy,

Well, we know that the problem is between your Windows 7 computer and the server (not specific for Connector/NET or Workbench). Also firewall is discarted, so other causes could be the configuration, port, protocol, permissions on the server, etc. I think this could be a network issue.

Another thing you could try is to connect from other computer and see what happends.
