I'm having the same issue. The current build doesn't seem to run with aspnet core and .net full, even on windows.
I'm getting the following error during configuration:
FileLoadException: Could not load file or assembly 'MySql.Data.EntityFrameworkCore, Version=7.0.5.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=c5687fc88969c44d' or one of its dependencies. Strong name validation failed. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8013141A)
