As far as I can see, you have two different versions of the Connector/NET in your system, this could lead to unwanted issues, like the one that you mentioned. Please first uninstall Connector/NET and then try to install the latest version, v8.0.31.

Also, if you are using the Connector/NET this way, you will have to reference your project from the installation path, not from Nuget.
