JDBC error with "communication link failure"

Our Java developers use dbroute to connect to mysql server. We always get communication link failure error in tomcate logs.

This error is caused by failing to get responses from mysq server in 30s.

We used tcpdump to caputer tcp packages and saw the sql in server side.

Does somenone have the same problem and know how to trace and fix it? Thanks.


PS: the both timeout parameters in mysql server are 720 hours.
