Is that possible working mySQL with Java in OSwindows2000?

To whom it may concern.

Hi. I need a connection wich is going to work properly between mySQL and JDBC using windows 2000 Professsional. If there is any solution doing that please make reply to me. Because I need to handdle this problem as soon as possible.
