e have a big query send to mysql-server via jdbc. if we start the query in the query-browser we can see that the query delivers the result very slow. (1000 rows per 10sec. ) the whole result is about more than 1.000.000 rows.... in the query-browser we can watch this "fetch process" live.

if we start this query via jdbc we must wait till the server has done the whole query an than we get our ResultSet object...?

at MS Access we get the Object after the first 10sec an can start iterate on it.

is there a way to do so in mysql via jdbc??
