bug with Windows Vista
Probably after an update of Windows Defender in Windows Vista the JDBC connection to MySQL has given up working, even for applications that have always worked until now.
I got the following exception stack:
com.mysql.jdbc.exceptions.jdbc4.CommunicationsException: Communications link failure
Last packet sent to the server was 0 ms ago.

What should I do? All my applications that have always worked now are completely dead, and I'm sure I have modified nothing.
Thanks in advance.
