autoReconnect deprecation

The changelog for 3.2.1 indicates that autoReconnect is going away. We currently use autoReconnectForPools. Anyone know if this is going away, too? Is there some replacement solution for the normal autoReconnect? The note below indicates to look in the manual for alternatives, but I am unable to find anything. In fact, the manual is still indicating to use autoReconnect to solve a problem (http://dev.mysql.com/doc/connector/j/en/cj-faq.html#id2474284).

05-17-05 - Version 3.2.1-alpha

- Autoreconnect functionality (i.e. autoReconnect=true) is now deprecated.
An exception will be thrown if you try and use it, use
'enableDeprecatedAutoreconnect=true' to still use autoReconnect. However
this feature will be removed in Connector/J 3.3, see the manual for
solutions that don't require autoReconnect to be used.
