Hi Mat,

You are only half the way. You'll need to implement the servlet or the code that takes the input data from form submission and performs some action. Update table in your case.

With the "action" attribute in the <form> tag you can refer to such servlet. Hidden fields (<input type="hidden" .../>) may be useful to send unique ids and control data to the servlet that processes the submitted data. Also, you don't need a "submit" button per record. It doesn't matter wich one you press, the whole data in the form will be delivered to the servlet you identify in the "action" attribute (or current servlet if you omit it).

There are other ways of accomplishing this without replacing/reloading the whole page, which you are doing by using the form submit. You just need to decide if that's what you need and which tools you want to use.

A simple web search for "web application using mysql" should get you plenty examples on how to do what you expect.
