Is the mysql Connector/J able to use the build in openssl libraries of android or not?
I tested the sha256 password authentication with a linux client with mysql community server compiled with openssl and this authentication works. So there must be a problem with android.
Any help would be much appriciated. Also a documentation of the authentication api would be helpful.
