Re: Communication failure during handshake. Is there a server running on localhost:3306?

Now it is becoming more strange to me.

I have found out, that if i just make a simple java-class, with a main function, which connects to the database and using get connection - it works fine. But whitin my application the exatly same piece of code generates the "Communication failure during handshake. Is there a server running on localhost:3306?"-failure.

What the h...?
