Hi,

Well, It all depends on how you're building your application.

You can start by logging times on the main operations, where you suspect the performance is being affected, and trying close it down to the ones that show the higher divergences on each run, or go as far as doing a full analysis using the tools available out there. If you want to take the second path I'd suggest using jvisualvm as it should be already available in your system.
