Setting the SQLTable.GetMetaData to False did not solve the problem at least not for my simple test application!
I had to actualy set the id field values to a negative number in 'Clientnewrecord' and then it works. Appearntly MYSQL disregards the negative numbers for Auto increment fields and it sets it to correct value!
