MySQL-python on Solaris

Hi all,

Have anybody compiled MySQLdb separately from MySQL5?
The problem is I have installed MySQL database on machine A and trying to install MySQLdb on B. Both machines are Solaris 2.8.
Server is up and running, but MySQLdb...
Well, I copied include files and libs (lib*.a) from machine B and launched "python setup.py install". On linking gcc tells about invalid refences from _mysql.so to other *.o files (ie, default.o, my_lib.o, ...). and the last issue "ld: fatal: relocations remain against allocatable but non-writable sections".

Has anybody solved similar problems and how? Thank you very much for your attention and your help! I will appreciate any help!
