Problem compiling DBD-mysql-4.004

HI,
I am trying to install DBD-mysql-4.004 on solaris 10
running perl, v5.8.4 built for sun4-solaris-64int and to compile i am using
gcc version of perl

I will use the following settings for compiling and testing:

Using DBI 1.54 (for perl 5.008004 on sun4-solaris-64int) installed in /usr/perl5/site_perl/5.8.4/sun4-solaris-64int/auto/DBI/

I have installed PathTools-3.24, DBI-1.54 using perlgcc and was fine.
