Hi Chuck,
I suggest you print a page header to the top of your script. All it really requires is a double line-feed. Then you might be able to see the actual error message that is being generated and when.
I'm using Perl and MySql on a Win2k3 server, so that's not the problem in itself. Are you using DBI? Make sure the modules, including mysql.pm, are installed.
