login-page

I'm about to build a login-page, using perl (cgi) and MySQL. The log-in page should be based on forms. The log-in should be connected to an MySQL-database containing information on persons, passwords and access rights.
I'm only just a beginner when it comes to perl and therefore I find it hard to manage this on my own. I know all the basics, how to connect to the database and get information out of the database etc.
Is there anyone who can help me with this problem or knows where I can find more info?
