Another question about "Call to undefined function mysqli_connect()"

Hi!

I know thi has been asked many many times. I've done my homework and read the posts about it, here and in other places, and the FAQ on forge, still, doesn't work...

I am running php 5.2.4 on Apache and have MySQL 5.0.
What I've done so far:
Apache and PHP work fine together. I cannot connect to MySQL though. I have added the extension to php.ini (the on that appears in phpinfo), I added the extension_dir, I checked that the file is indeed in php/ext, also libmysql.dll is in there. Also C:\php is in my PATH.

Any suggestions from anyone? I've been working on this for quite some time and i'm frustrated :(

Thank you!!!
