adding phpbb forum with script

Will a correctly written db script, to add forums and permissions, work with the existing PHPbb code when resynchronized, if nothing is added to the forum code, just the database? I realize this forum is about MySQL databases not PHPbb but it's related and someone might have the knowledge im looking for.


I already have the forum running. At times i'm going to have to add a lot of new forums for each new user group of people. This involves adding a new category and 2 new sub forums inside it.


This is a lot of manual work if i'm using the PHPbb administration panel so Id like to write a script to help.
