problem with mysql server 4.1

Hello,

I have problem with mysql server4.1..

I do an application web, on mysql 3.2 and php4
and now i run my application on mysql server 4.1 and php5
but there are errors, this is errors when i run my application

"Warning: MySQL Connection Failed: Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server;"

I can not find out that problem

hope u can help me..

i wait for your help
