Please let me also know if you found the solution to this.
I'm getting the same problem and still couldnt' find any way to solve it yet.
I am using MyODBC 3.51.2 and C#.
I tried adding CharSet=utf8 and Character Set=utf8 in the connectionString.
But nothing is working so far. Please tell me if you find any solution.
