Hello,

I am creating a website connecting to a mysql db using PHP. The requirement to use mysql_connect is hostname, user, pwd.

What if I am not the person that installed the db. I am using a db from an ISP. So how would I know what the hostname is? Also, you mention somethings about default user account. I don't have access to such information.

So can someone provide some solution in how am I suppose to find out what the hostname, user, pwd information?
