Re: Mysqli Vs mysql
From what I've been reading, Mysqli seems to be the future of php-mysql related commands. Is this true? Im not exactly sure how Im supposed to configure my computer to work with mysqli. I've been looking at some posts. They talk about changing my configuration. Is this done before installation?
Im not exactly sure how I can make my system start working with mysqli. Im currently running on Mandriva 2005 LE, PHP 5.0.5, Apache 2.0.55, Mysql 5.0.15 ... all of which I am new at. Can someone please help me???
Thanks in advance.
