if mygallery.custid not equal to subscribe.custid1 then record not added to mygallery table. basically, no access to database. i could not use grant access- to-database syntax. i don't know how, so this was the next way to accomplish it. if i can grant/or not grant permission to the file that would be great. i could use my login program to grant or not grant access. this would be a lot easier and logical. thanks for any help.
