MySQL 5 & PHP 4.4.2?
I have a situation where I am running MySQL 5, but I now am trying to install a PHP app that will only run on PHP 4. I installed PHP 4 and it appears to be working correctly, but it won't talk to MySQL. By running phpInfo(), it does show that MySQL is setup, but is it showing a Client API version of 3.23.49.
I am assuming that this issue is that PHP 4 did not know about MySQL 5 and therefore something needs updating, but being that I am not a PHP person, I don't know where to start. Can anybody give me any pointers?
Thanks.
