mysql Unautherized access to database

hi every one,
I have successfully installed MYSQL under Fedora core 2 system,
and also the Connector, I'm developing JSP pages.

my database : project
my user: mas, and its password mas
in the index page there is a standard and correct code, that polling the
database,but i encounter this exception:

message from the server, unauthorized access to database project to
user [e-mail]

although mysql client accept mas credentials, this error also generated to the root

I will be gratfull for any help.
