HOW TO EDIT THE HOSTS VARIABLES MAX_CONNECTIONS IN MYSQL

Hello All

I am connecting 200 machines to a server that runs the 3.23.49 version of mysql server.
How do i edit the max_connections variable so that i can continue with the installation ?
