Help Please Its urgent Error code 1042

Dear All,

I am a newbie & trying to install the MySql server on one of the system & wish to access it from other systems in LAN.
For this i opted to use MySql5.5 version & have installed it. At the time of configuring it i did following:-

1. Selected Detailed Configuration
2. Selected Server Machine
3. Selected multifunctional Database
4. Left InnoDB Table space settings as it is
5. Selected OLAP for number of connections
6. Enabled TCP port & added to exception in firewall
7. Enabled Strict mode
8. Selected Standard Character set
9. Selected Security settings, gave default password & enabled remote access
10.Did not created anonymous account.
11.Finally executed the configuration & completed successfully.

But the concern is if i am on that system & access it with host name like local host or server (computer name) it is giving access but at the same time if i an trying to access the database on server from other system connected in LAN with it it is giving Error code 1042 Host name cannot be resolved.

However if i give the same name in RUN command i am able to access the shared files on it (eg: //server/backup/)

I am using SQLYog as an IDE for database.

Kindly help me. Your help is highly appreciated.
