Attempt to access invalid address

I already had MySQL Server installed on my computer. I uninstalled it for some issues i had with it. When i tried to install it back into my computer, i get this error over and over: "Attempt to access invalid address".I found out that what is actually happening is the program may be too large for the memory allocation - when it says the address is invalid, it means it has gone beyond the end of the memory registers that are assigned to the program, well, that's what i researched. How can the problem be fixed? I really miss having such a great open source database system and i don't wanna settle for Microsoft Access. Please any help will be greatly appreciated.
