mySql replication and linked servers

Hello:
My objective is to set replication between an Oracle database and a MySql database with Oracle being the publisher and MySql being the subscriber.
Having difficulties understanding how to do this, I decided tyo start with linking the servers.

I am not sure where to start - I can say I have downloaded the latest MySql and installed in on a virtualized windows 7 computer.

I have for many years linked Microsoft SQL server databases between each other and also with Oracle databases. It is not very difficult. But with MySql, I am not sure where to start - In the Workbench, I see no mention of replication nor linking to a different server. I have tried creating a new connection, using ip and credentials to the MS SQL box but to no avail. I belive I dont understand the MySQl approach...
