MSSQL desktop engine to MySQL

Currently I have a server which is our "third party" server so its the lucky server to get anything none microsoft.(mostly small things)
Currently I have a MSSQL desktop engine datebase, which conatains the Trendmicro AV files. It also contains Micrsoft server update service files. I want to switch this to MYSQL so I can run media wiki in there too. Unless I could run MSSQL and MySQL on the same server. Could i do that? I have no idea where to start. I am noob with MySQL and MSSQL. It set itself up and it worked(amazing for MS)
