Greetings,

I am trying to convert oracle stored procedure to mysql compliant.In the oracle SP there is use of parameterized cursors in this way:

IN ORACLE:

CURSOR get_day_records_haal_curs(dayNum IN NUMBER)
IS
SELECT ALARMTIMESTAMP, TIME, ACTION, COMMENTTEXT, USERID, ME_ID, SOURCEALARMID
FROM HISTORICALACTIONSALARMLOG
WHERE TO_DATE(TO_CHAR(ALARMTIMESTAMP, 'DD-MON-YYYY HH24:MI:SS'), 'DD-MON-YYYY HH24:MI:SS') < TO_DATE( (TO_CHAR(SYSDATE-dayNum, 'DD-MON-YYYY HH24:MI:SS')), 'DD-MON-YYYY HH24:MI:SS');

what is the mysql equvivalent of this declaration????

Any quick response or quickhelp will be grealty appreciated as working on a tight deadlines.

Thanks,
Jigar
