I'll ask again about Oracle talking to Mysql
Hi there,
I didn't get any response on my question of the other day. That worries me. It usually means that no one else on the forum knows. After already exhausting everyones ideas around here where I work that means I am fried! No where else to turn. So I'm reposting my question and still wondering why I can't insert using Oracle Forms into a Mysql database.
Hi ,
I am trying to write an Oracle front end using Mysql for the back end database. No insert statement will work. I keep getting No changes to save. Even if I try to hardcode data into the sql statement behind a button it won't go but yet will let me insert at the mysql command prompt. There must be something in the way oracle takes the statement and gives it to mysql. I am missing something and don't know what. Know one that I work with can figure it out. Any ideas?
