Batch run mysql.exe schedule task

I am having problems converting the unix cronjobs batch scheduling and running of files to MySQL using mysql.exe scheduling with windows XP scheduler.
My issue is I am trying to make mysql connection run select and dump results into text file then process the text file. How you do this all being automated.
I know how to run these one by one manually in dos window but have found anything on NET about doing these tasks automated and scheduled. Someone has to have come across this before, any ideas?
