Hi all,

i'm working on Unix plateform, and i've to migrate my databse from Oracle to Mysql, for this there are some tools. But the problem is that there is one tool/program in C that is accessing oracle database to run the application, this application is fetching some data from oracle database and comparing it with some values, now i just want to know that whether this program will work with mysql or not.

that means i want to know that which fields i need to change if i'm changing the databse from oracle to mysql, like for connecting thrugh client they wud be seting some variables for these, can u please tell me abt these variable

or anything which are important/required to connect to database through client. the tool is consisting of some perl scrip, and C programs.

i want this urgently
