Hello All,

i m migrating an application from Oracle 9i / Oracle developer 2000 to MYSQL, the database migrated successfully.

Now, due to some business requirement, we have to keep the Oracle developer 2000 front end which runs on client/server , we managed to get the ODBC driver working and connected to MYSQL without problem, most of the features and fields are working fine ,

EXCEPT :
the date , datetime field is not working, example, if i INSERT a record into the MYSQL via command line, it can appear in my Oracle FORMS 5.0 without problem, BUT when i enter a date in the oracle forms and save , error come out :

OCA-30010: Oracle to ODBC datatype conversion error

i tried all the combination of dates , time , i also tried changing the format MASK to all kind of combination.. it did not work...

any advice any one ??

thank you.
