Hi Mark:
The Migration Wizard at this point is trying to reverse engineer the table columns in your database. The problem here is that it's getting a table column that has an associated datatype that is not listed in the ODBC function getTypeInfo(). This shouldn't be happening, but in such cases we "fix" this by forcing the column to be of type VARCHAR. It should work for most cases, but according to this page:
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28318/datatype.htm#i1835 it seems that Oracle likes better VARCHAR2 instead of VARCHAR.
A suggested fix here would be to replace 'VARCHAR' in db_generic_re_grt.py", line 402, with 'VARCHAR2' and see how it goes.
