Re: MySQL Tablespaces
The Oracle databases we use for production are high transactional. We split the tables into the large, medium, and small tablespaces just for personal preference according to table size. We do the same with a large, medium, and small index tablespace as well. My largest database in production is 75 GB, so nothing extremely huge. I have been wanting to test out MySQL for some time, I am just unsure where to start. I would like to bring it over to our test environment and keep it as standard to the existing Oracle configuration as possible. I guess I just need to read up on it more and figure out how to manage it. Any help is greatly appreciated.
