How does the clustering in MySQL work. Right now we don't use Oracle RAC because its ridiculously expensive. We do however do Microsoft Windows Clustering which allows Database failover to another node of shared storage. Is MySQL clustering like a database cluster similar to Oracle RAC or hardware?

Mike

I will see if I can come up with some code that displays ROWNUM and how we use it.
