IBM DB2 / MYSQL Replication

Hello,

we are using MySQL 4.0.18b on Novell machines at 13 different locations.

Due to a new project it is necessary to establish a direct replication between
our central DB2/AS400 database and those MySQL databases.

I've read an article about an IBM/DB2 Software called Datapropagator and read the instruction manual about the MySQL replication. The informations are not very usefull.

:o(

I was euphoric about using stored procedures on the MySQL machines, but it isn't possible with this MySQL version ?!

My question (s):

Is it possible to replicate data between DB2 / MySQL without a "middleware" installed
on an other "machine" ? Do you have information about using the Datapropagator with
MySQL ? IBM do not have any information about such a "co-operation". Do you provide an other opportunity ?

Please help me, I'm in deep trouble ;o) I would like to use MySQL in the future, but without the "direct replication" .....

Best Regards
