Migrating from InformixDB to MySQL
Hi. I am consulting on a project that involves moving some data from an Informix database to a MySQL database.
The current setup is that the Informix Database is hosted on a UNIX (Sun) machine, and the goal is to migrate the database over to either a Windows or Linux based MySQL server.
I'm trying to figure out if there's an elegant solution to simply port the database over. If anyone has any thoughts or ideas, I'd be quite grateful!
