MS Access Field Types and MySQL Types

From reading I see that I need a timestampfield in the MySQL to make it work with an autonumber field. I assume that you may only use incremental autonumbers in MySQL.

When I convert, it saved as Int with size 11? Is this adequate?

Can I connect an MS Access front End (local install) to a MySQL database on the web. Would it be difficult for an end user to configure?

I am a newbie trying to create a web based app that would allow a user to sign in with password and have access to only his record using PHP. Any ideas?
