Converting Hyperlink Fields from Access to MYSQL
We are converting an Access application to MYSQL and I'm not sure how to handle the hyperlink fields (which are allowed in Acess but have no MYSQL equivalent). I understand that I need to store the link info in a text field, but I don't know how to go about coding a drop down box to allow the user to select the document the link will be for. I'd like to do something very similar to the Access screens that pop up when you create a hyperlink field. You get a drop down box of all the drives available to your PC and you just keep drilling down until you hit the folder you are after.
My application is tracking projects and each project has it's own folder with associated documentation (of various types) inside.
Thanks!
