Field declared as NOT NULL accepts null value
I’m accessing data from MySQL through MS Access forms. However, I’m wondering why even if a field is defined as NOT NULL (or requires a value) it can still accept a null value. I tried looking first for solutions in the MySQL Forum and list of bugs, but I can’t find any.
Here’s our current settings:
Windows XP 5.1
MS Access 2002
MySQL Server 5.0.4
MyODBC 3.51.12 (updated from 3.51.11-2, but the error still occurs)
MS Jet Engine 4.0
