insert on linked table failed

I am using myodbc5s.dll and trying to insert records through MS Acesss. Updates work fine. I keep getting 'insert on linked table failed' error on adds. I looked at myodbc log and it has a ROLLBACK after the attempt at inserting. How do I get this to work?
